I may as well start a thread! It's looking a little sad on here of late!
So, you guys all bloody well knew Will collected this, anyway it was for ME! I've been after a 2nd car for a while now, just as something to play around with, drive occasionally and take to shows. I may eventually use him as a daily, but we shall see.
When billybug's Rusty came up for sale, I was very, very interested... as was Will, and he and Scott went to pick him up that night. My heart goes out to you and your kidneys dude, thanks so much.
I was going to keep it rusty and bring him out for the end of the show season, but I want this car to be alllll my own ... and I've had plans for a car for a while now..
Right, so he's not in the greatest of condition (believe it or not the rust is the least of my problems!) but you can't really complain at the price! Yes, he needs paint (he would anyway, in true crazydubs style), he's getting a new interior and the like.. he's in good enough condition for a 20 year old car.
Billybug you are a NAUGHTY BOY cutting the coilovers.. tsk tsk!! And the subframe is cracked and something around that general region (Hopefully it's not the gearbox..) is leaking something chronic. One of the rear doors is feeling a little thin and there's a few bashes and scrapes that'll need fixing, but it's nothing majorly bad and all things that Will shall turn his hand to eventually.
So, nothing new at the minute and he doesn't look any different but hey, I have a cool car and I want to show him off. _________________

OMG, I didn't know you'd bought this! Why'd no-one tell me.
Seriously, good luck with it. If you need any help you know where I am. _________________ Fresh! |

Lol that's ok about the subframe I'm in love with the car so it doesn't matter! I think everything else underneath is fine (except the leak, Will knows more about it than I do) It was tempting to scrap, and Will did say it would be easier, but as I said, I'm besotted with it and I'm going to do him proud. When Rustizzle was in my garage I used to go in there just to admire his beauty! Some of the people I told about him couldn't believe that I owned "that rusty golf that was in Fast Car.."
Is there any chance those spare keys fit the boot lock? There's no worries if not because I have plans for that, but if I can't pull that off I may need them :P
And yeah, the thin door is that exact one!
I hope you don't mind me making him unrusty either...
Thanks for the offer of help Scott, I may need it...
And Lee... NO! You are not having any hints! Tsk tsk... _________________
