The tournament will be played at the Tanah Merah Country Club. Can anyone enlighten me as to whether any other professional tournaments have been played here before?

The official tournament site lists the prior pro events at Tanah Merah, including the 2005 and 2006 Lexus Cups.

Yep, the first two Lexus Cups were both played there. Which means a bunch of players in the field have an advantage, having played the course in the past!

A masterpiece from Se Ri's sister. Also, notice the bag. It says Bighorn GC. When does that Korean GC get some space?

The article I read said the Yongsan endorsement kicks in in May.

I also read she will be paired with Ji Yai for the first two rounds. Cool!

Here's some more:

Here's another video clip, in Korean, but several interviews in English:

http://kr.news.yahoo.com/service/news/shellview3.htm?linkid=197&ac=player&articleid=2008022719482453775

Sooner or later a Korean is going to win again on the LPGA tour, and this stupid curse is going to end. Why not this week? It's a good a week as any to start, being in Asia and all. And it would be so fitting for a Korean to capture the first "Asian Major", wouldn't it? GO SISTERS!!

the organizers did an almost perfect job with their pairings--but I still found two things to nitpick!
