| I'd say that a backpack is a necessary tool if you want to carry you Encumbrance's worth of stuff (STH x 5 lbs.). Without a backpack, you can't carry that much stuff and you'll loose END (because you'd get tired from carrying it in your arms or holding bags, etc.). |
